Popular television channel Star Vijay officially announced the new season of Bigg Boss a few days ago. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will return as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil season 7, which is said to commence on October 8. It will be aired on Vijay, Vijay Super, Vijay Takkar and Disney+ Hotstar.

It comprises Vijay TV celebrities Jacqueline, 'Bigg Boss 6' star Rachitha's husband Dinesh, actress Rekha Nair, actor Prithviraj, female bus driver Sharmila and Polimer TV newsreader Ranjith. Now, the latest reports suggest that Bayilvan Ranganathan is going to participate in the show.

Bayilvan Ranganathan is an actor and critic in Tamil cinema. He is regarded as a controversial media personality in recent times because of his gossiping nature. Notably, he had a rift with Rekha Nair, who is also said to be a Bigg Boss 7 participant. The actress fought with Bayilvan last year on a beach in Chennai over his inappropriate remarks about her nude scene in the 'Iravin Nizhal' movie. This news is now going viral.
