Sid’s Mahesh sentiment

Siddharth says that he felt Oh My Friend will become a hit because just like Bommarillu which was released close on the heels of Pokiri, this film too was going to be released some weeks after the release of Dookudu.  Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Sid said that his sentimental belief eventually came true.

Sharing the news that Salman Rushdie, the world-famous author, congratulated him over phone on his performance in Deepa Mehta’s Midnight Children (to be released), the actor said that it was great working with the talented director.  Besides this Hindi release, he has a film scheduled with David Dhawan.

In Telugu, of course, he will be busy with Nandini Reddy’s (of Ala Modalaindi fame) film in a while.  He is paired with Nithya Menon in this untitled film.
