Hunt on for Venky’s pair

The search for Venky’s pair in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is proving to be elusive.  It was first circulated that Trisha will be paired up with Venkatesh, but since she would not be apt to play Mahesh’s vadina (Mahesh plays Venky’s brother in the movie), her name was dropped at the first instance.

Next, we heard the name of Bhumika.  Though her name was contemplated for good measure, the choice was later abandoned because Bhumika, like Trisha, had been a co-star of Mahesh in the past.

The name currently under consideration is of Sneha.  The Rajanna star will not only look good opposite Venkatesh, but also as Mahesh’s vadina.

It is said that her role will have negative shades.  We will be kept guessing about the probable choice of the actress who will play the scheming vadinamma in the movie.  A final decision on it will be made before the film goes to the sets in January.
