?Lakshmi Kalyanam?, A Village Love Story

Director Teja is directing the film ?Lakshmi Kalyanam?, starring Kalyan Ram and Kajal (this is her first film in Telugu), in the lead roles. The shooting of the film is currently in progress at Madanapalli in Chitoor district. Crucial scenes of the film are being shot in the surrounding areas of the place. All the main and major members of the film are taking part in the shooting.

Producer K.Chandrasekhar said, ? The film flows in the backdrop of a village and it is a love story set in a environs of a rustic and bucolic ambiance. The name of the hero is Kalyan and he is very popular with everybody in the village. He is a jovial and cheerful guy and he has a tendency of helping everybody in the village, who are in trouble. He falls in love with a girl named Lakshmi. From there, the story takes an unexpected turn. The film will be on the lines of Teja?s previous films and the dialogues of Paruchuri Brothers will be striking and engaging?.

Sayaji Shinde, Ajay, Avinash, Raghubabu, Tulasi, Shakuntala and others are part of the cast.

Music is by R.P.Patnaik, who is the favorite of Teja and is a regular in many of his films. Veteran producer K.Mahendra presents the film and the photography is by A.R.Krishna.
