Hot action month

December was bit of a low-key affair for Tollywood. Except for Jai Chiranjeeva there were not very many big releases.

So if December was laid back, January has to have high-voltage action. It looks like it will.

There are many big films set for release this month. Many of them look like that they will make it for the Sankranthi itself —it falls the next weekend.

Among the proposed releases for Sankranthi are Venkatesh’s Lakshmi, Siddharth’s Chukkalo Chandrudu, Lawrence’s Style, YVS. Choudhury’s Devdas, S V Krishna Reddy’s Sarda Sardaga.

After Sankranthi, films like Allu Arjun’s Happy and Ram Gopal Verma’s Shock would make it to the theaters.

Then they will be quickly followed (perhaps in February) by the likes of Sri Ramadasu, Bhangaram, Asadhyudu and Ashok

So stay tuned for some heavy action.
