Out in the open

Pawan Kalyan’s Balu-ABCDEFG may or may not be doing well.

But Pawan is himself doing well in his personal life.

After enduring some traumatic and turbulent times, he is now much moored in his life. He is stable and level-headed. This is primarily due to his relationship with Renu Desai, his one-time co-star, but now his life.

The duo’s relationship was the stuff of the gossip  rags for many years. But now both are at ease with themselves and with others. After the birth of Akki (their son), they are now much more open and easy while talking about the tempestuous relationship.

"She is a very straightforward and an open person. We share the same interests – be it food or books. It is important to connect with a person," he recently said of Renu Desai.

"Renu stood by me when I was completely down. I fell in love with her. She has supported me on every aspect, gave me confidence. I see in her a companion for life. It is wrong when people say she interferes with my work."

But what does she think of him? "He has brought a lot of meaning into my life and I look forward to spending each day with him. There has been a lot of understanding and lot of patience in his company. I have enjoyed every moment with him. Every relationship has its pros and cons. I have given 100 percent to this relationship and I am very happy and content."

But what about a formal marriage?

Well, that’s for conventional people.
