When an up and coming actor tries to make a comeback after a brief lull in his career, the focus is bound to be on him.
So it is little surprise that the industry’s eyes are now Tarun and Sakhiya — Na Tho Ra.
Tarun has been without a hit for quite some time now. The chocolate-box hero’s viability in the industry is being questioned. Tollywood is also not sure about the endurance of the new generation actors. "Most of them lack the longevity and they don’t seem to be long race horses," says a leading distributor.
Tarun is basically out to prove such skeptics wrong.
He is happy that Sakhiya has shaped up well though it has taken a long-time making. "The effort will be worth," he says.
For the director Jayanth C, after Shankar Dada MBBS, this should be another hit.
"Two in a row, hopefully," he says.
