Shika, who is known in Sandalwood as Bhavana Rao, made her debut in Kollywood with ‘Kolaya Kolaya Mundhirika’, a comedy caper directed by Madhumitha. The actress is now expecting three of her Tamil films, including ‘Vinmeenngal’ which is hitting the screens today.
“In Vinmeengal, I play the mother of a special child. It was a challenging experience. Besides, I am looking forward for the release of A M R Ramesh’s Vana Yudhdham and Padam Parthu Kadhai Sol,” the actress says.
A post graduate in human resource management, Shika looks forward for challenging roles in Kollywood. “I always look out for strong roles where I can experiment with my characters. One such role is that of mine in Vinmeengal.”
Shika says she indulges in a lot of debates about animals especially stray dogs. “I love animals a lot. It is our duty to take care of them because the world belongs to all living beings and not just for men and women.”
