‘Kochadaiyaan’ from March 21

Now that all the preliminary works, including composing of a few songs, are over, it’s time to start the shooting of ‘Kochadaiyaan’, Superstar Rajinikanth’s first film on 3D, using performance capture technology.

According to sources, the movie will hit the floors in London on March 21. “Rajini, along with director Soundarya R Ashwin and other members of the cast and crew, will leave for the UK in a few days,” they maintain.

On Thursday, Rajini crooned for a song composed by AR Rahman. Buzz is that the Oscar-Grammy winner too had recorded for the number, along with the Superstar. “The song is so classical and at the same time catchy,” sources add.

Shooting will be completed in one go as Soundarya doesn’t want to strain her father much. After that, post production works will go on for few months and the movie is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year or by the beginning of 2013.
