Guess why? Because there are no songs in this Gautham Vasudev Menon?s upcoming film, which is a ?raw thriller? set in the backdrop of Chennai. And not just songs, the director is even planning not to have any background score.
?Thriller movies normally tend to scare the audience with music. I want to try something different in ?Nadunisi Naaigal? and hence may not use any background score throughout the film. But I have not decided on it yet,? the filmmaker says.
The director, who has given us thrillers like ?Vettaiaydu Vilayadu? and ?Pachaikili Muthucharam?, says, ?Nadunisi Naaigal is about a different kind of psychopath whose activities begin only during the night.?
Produced by Photon Kathaas Productions in association with R S Infotainment Pvt Ltd, shooting of the film starring Sameera Reddy and Veera is almost over. ?We will release the movie very soon,? says the big daddy of love stories and thrillers.
