Eurasia signs up Ajith

Eurasia Motorsports Management has signed up Ajith Kumar ahead of his debut in the 2010 FIA Formula Two Championships.

Eurasia, headed by international racing driver Piers Hunnisett, will manage Ajith’s motorsport activities including his training. The actor will race alongside compatriots Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaran in the championships. The first race of the season will take place at Silverstone on April 16.

Says Piers Hunnisett, “It is a great pleasure to be able to work with a driver such as Ajith; he has so much enthusiasm for the sport and for this year he is putting in 110 % effort into his racing career. It has been a couple of years since he last raced professionally in Formula 3 so it will take a couple of races in Formula 2 to get back up to speed, but I believe he has the dedication and the focus to produce some good results during the year.”

Eurasia Motorsport Management is pleased to announce it has signed up Ajith Kumar in order to develop his professional racing career. Eurasia will manage all of Ajith?s motorsport activities including sourcing teams and events in addition to driver training. The first deal made has been to place Ajith Kumar in the high profile Formula 2 championship a series just one step below Formula 1.”
