?Kannada actor Shivrajkumar has watched ?Pokkisham? thrice while Sumana Kittur, a close aide of director Agni Sridhar watched many of my movies. Both of them urged me to be part of a Kannada film,? says Padmapriya.

Fresh from the success of ?Pazhassi Raja?, the management graduate turned actress says, ?The year ahead is very important to me. I am keen to make an impression in Sandalwood. I have eight releases in five languages.?

The title of her debut Kannada movie is ?Thamasu?. Directed by Agni Sridhar, the film has Sandalwood top hero Shivrajkumar opposite Padmapriya. The movie has created enough expectations in Karnataka.

?I am happy to work with Shivrajkumar. He is friendly and cooperative. Equally helpful is director Sridhar. ?Thamasu? is going to rock the whole Karnataka,? says the optimistic actress.
