Welcoming director Agathiyan!

The ?Kadhal Kottai? fame director Agathiyan is back to business now. After the forgetful ?Kadhal Samrajyam? and ?Selvam? that was directed simultaneously before 4 years, the director has started works for his come back.

The director who was into reading translated novels all these days said that Latin-American novels have influenced him more among others. Especially a novel written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that was translated in Tamil as ?Urumattram? is noteworthy, says the director.

?Today?s younger generation resemble the characters in that novel. The present-day youths are so different; parents are scared of them and are not able to control them. But, this situation was vice versa then.? says Agathiyan.

?Teenagers are misusing this weakness of their parents. I am writing my next film?s script based on this relationship problems and misapprehensions. I?ve decided to film this one with fresh faces. I will be soon announcing further details of my upcoming venture after confirming the cast and crew,? finished the director.
