Charged up Saran keen on success

Director Saran is ready with his next film ‘Modhi Vilayadu’. A protégé of director K. Balachander, Saran made a name for himself as a top director coming out with a number of hits like ‘Amarkalam’, ‘Attagasam’, ‘Parthen Rasithen’ and ‘Vasool Raja’.
 
However, his last film ‘Vattaram’ managed to get only a lukewarm response at the box office. Keen to set the record straight, Saran has incorporated all commercial elements in the right mix with ‘Modhi Vilayadu’.
 
Starring Vinay and Kajal Agarwal, the movie has musical score by the Colonial Cousins – Hariharan and Leslie.
 
‘Shot in Kuala Lumpur, Finland and Dubai, ‘Modhi Vilayadu’ is an action-packed entertainer. A host of Malay actors form part of the cast. The story is about the struggle of a youth to regain his identity and establish a place for himself in society’, says Saran.
