Vasanthabalan, whose Veyyil was screened at the prestigious film festival won appreciation from the film-buffs who gathered to watch the screening of the movie on Saturday.
Produced by S Pictures, Veyyil features Pasupathy, Bharath and Bhavana in lead roles. The movie had sub-titles in English. Vasanthabalan was introduced to the huge gathering after screening of the film.
Also Mani Ratnam’s Guru, a bio-pic of industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani was screened at the Cannes Festival on Sunday at 3 pm.
