Malayalam actress Navya Nair, who made her debut in Tamil with Azhagiya Theeyae is now acting opposite director Thangar Bachan in a movie titled Chidambarathil Appasamy.
She plays the mother of two kids in the movie.
When asked why such a role? Navya says "it’s a powerful movie. The entire story revolves around my character. Very rarely an actress comes across such roles in her career. I consider it as a opportunity to expose my acting credentials".
Before approaching Navya, Thangar had told the story to the likes of Sneha who backed out saying playing a mother role would be detrimental to their image.
So Navya has been roped in. On why such a big gap after a good role in Azhagiya Theeyae, Navya Nair says "I am in no hurry to do movies. I want to sustain the good name that I earned acting in Azhagiya Theeyae. I am selecting my roles very carefully".
