Actress Asin has emerged as the hot contender for the top slot in Kollywood with Trisha seeming to concentrate only on Tollywood.

The young vivacious girl from Kerala has a good number of offers including movies opposite Surya, Vijay, Ajith and Vikram.

An happy and enthusiastic Asin says "I play different roles in my forthcoming movies.

In Sivakasi, I play a typical Chennai girl, while in Maja, I am playing a modern youth with attitude, while in Ghajini, I am cast as a college student.

My role in Godfather will be appreciated for I have played the role of rustic village lass."

A voracious reader, Asin says "I am happy that I have enough roles in Tamil and Telugu filmdom.

However I am waiting for good offers from Malaylam too. I am not specific about roles and I would keep acting as long as people wants to see me on the screen".
