Noted cinematographer Aravind Krishna was tipped to direct Dhanush’s movie Arya, a remake of blockbuster Telugu hit Arya.
Interestingly Selvaraghavan had penned the screenplay and dialogues for the Tamil version. Sonia Agrawal was said to act as heroine in the movie.
But things have hit a topsyturvy mode now.
Grapevine has it that Aravind Krishna will be replaced by director Subramaniam Siva, who had earlier combined with Dhanush in the hit Thiruda Thirudi.
Not just this. It is said that Gemini Labs, which was initially slated to produce the movie, might be replaced by Salem Chandrasekhar, who produced Sullan.
And wait you have not heard it fully.
Sonia Agrawal might not play the heroine. Yes, you read it right.
Sonia Agarwal not being part of a movie in which Selvaraghavan is having a hand has come as a surprise to the entire industry.
Should we read between the lines?
Don’t know.
But one thing is sure. Dhanush is optimistic that Arya would go to floors soon.
