Rajini shoots amidst heavy rains

As we all know, the shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’  is nearing completion and the movie is scheduled for a release on December 12, the birthday of ‘Thalaivar’. The team is chasing the deadline and even incessant weather could not hamper their commitment to complete the film on time.

‘Lingaa’ is being shot near Jog falls in Karnataka where the team has been camped for almost a month now. For the past three, four days there seems to be heavy rain. Despite this the film’s director did not called for a break and the shooting is going on full swing. Even in poor light conditions, the film’s camera man Rathnavelu has been able to deliver with his lens. And the fantastic news is that the team will wind up the schedule in the next seven to eight days.

‘Lingaa’ is the mega budget flick produced by Rocline Venkatesh, The film has Rajini playing dual roles with Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha playing his love interests Santhanam, Karuna, Jagapathy Babu, Sudheep, Radha Ravi and many others form part of the supporting cast. Oscar winner A.R.Rahman is the music director.
