Gauthaam Menon’s Ajith-starrer to be launched on 15th February

It has been officially announced that Gautham Vasudev Menon?s Ajith-starrer would go to floors from 15th February next year. Ajith committed to do a film for Menon after the latter had to abandon films starring Vijay and Suriya for various reasons.

Ajith, who loves rendering a helping hand to those in need, agreed to do a film for Menon but said that the shooting schedule could star only after the release in theatres of his upcoming film Veeram which is scheduled to hit the screens on Pongal in January next year. Ajith recently wrapped up the film?s shoot and is now getting ready to go to Australia for a much-deserved vacation.

Ajith is expected to be back in Chennai by the time Veeram hits the screens.  The date of commencement of his untitled film with Menon has been fixed as 15th May so as to enable Ajith to lose his paunch and look absolutely slim.  Unlike his past few movies, Ajith would appear clean-shaven in Menon?s film and would also sport black hair instead of the ?salt-and-pepper? look.

Marathi actress Pallavi Subhash, who plays Simbu?s heroine in his upcoming directorial venture titled Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai, is likely to be repeated as heroine again in Menon?s untitled Ajith-starrer. The music director and other artistes and technicians to work in the film are not yet finalized.
