Congress uses Telangana rally pic to elevate Priyanka!

On Monday, Priyanka Gandhi and her brother, Rahul Gandhi, did a long roadshow in Lucknow.  Since this was Priyanka’s maiden roadshow after her recent re-entry into politics, it assumed much significance.  However, the rally is in the news for a hilarious reason.

A national spokesperson of Congress party tweeted out a pic in which a huge crowd was seen.  She claimed that the roadshow was a humongous hit, and tried to project Priyanka and Rahul as a great force in UP politics.

It turned out that the pic actually pertains to a Congress roadshow in Gajwel before the Telangana Assembly polls.  The BJP IT Cell in Karnataka was the first to spot it.  Ridiculing the party, Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri said, “Priyanka Vadra’s rally was so big that it started in Lucknow and ended in Telangana.”
