Following the complaint of a person from Tippanur, Pannimadai in Coimbatore that his 6 year old daughter was missing, police had started their search operation to find her. The cops had received information that a body of a girl was found stabbed and cut with knife in Kasthurinayakkan Pudur, with hands and legs tied, and they rushed to the location.

The cops recovered the body and sent it to Coimbatore Government medical college hospital for postmortem, and it was identified to be that of the missing 6 year old girl. Today, the postmortem report was released, and it was revealed that the girl was sexually abused, and now along with murder charges, Posco act has also been included in this case.

10 special teams have been formed to nab the accused, and the cops are investigating the neighbors and are trying to locate the criminals behind the heinous crime. People in Coimbatore have started protesting, condemning the sexual abuse and murder of the girl, in Thudiyalur by blocking roads.
