CM Revanth Reddy,TS government felicitate Padma Vibhushan Chiranjeevi,Padma award winners

The Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently organized a grand felicitation ceremony to honor Padma Vibhushan recipients Chiranjeevi and Venkaiah Naidu, along with other Padma Sri awardees. The event took place at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad, and witnessed a massive crowd of enthusiastic attendees.

Addressing the gathering, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating talented individuals in all professions. He highlighted the significance of Telugu as the second most spoken language in India after Hindi, expressing the government's commitment to felicitating artists and ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage.

Revanth Reddy bestowed heartfelt praises upon Padma Vibhushan Chiranjeevi, acknowledging his remarkable talent and contributions both in the film industry and the political arena. He specifically mentioned Chiranjeevi's role in the biographical film "Sye Raa," which depicted the life of Telangana freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy.

Revanth Reddy also lauded former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu for his apolitical stance and his efforts in promoting Telugu pride at the international level. He stressed that the felicitation event transcended political boundaries and was a celebration of the entire Telugu-speaking fraternity worldwide. Chiranjeevi,Venkaiah Naidu and other awards winners praised CM Revanth Reddy and his government's initiative to honor the award winners and felt that this kind of actions will inspire many in the coming days.

Prior to the ceremony, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally extended invitations to Chiranjeevi and Venkaiah Naidu through Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Rao met with both individuals and conveyed the government's appreciation and admiration for their achievements.

The grand felicitation ceremony was a resounding success, showcasing the Telangana government's commitment to honoring and preserving Telugu culture and heritage. It brought together renowned artists, distinguished personalities, and a multitude of proud Telugu-speaking individuals, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for the state's cultural legacy.
