Box office rage: It’s a century for Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’!

Chiyaan Vikram’s fantasy action film, “Thangalaan,” directed by Pa Ranjith, has made a strong impact since its release on August 15th, receiving positive reviews from both fans and critics. To celebrate the film’s success, Vikram recently hosted a success meet for the cast and crew, treating them to a special feast. Photos and videos from the event have quickly gone viral on social media.

Today, Vikram officially announced that “Thangalaan” has crossed the 100-crore mark at the worldwide box office, achieved solely through its Tamil and Telugu releases. This milestone was shared alongside a new promotional poster, which is also gaining traction online. The film is set to release in North India today, which could potentially boost its box office earnings further. “Thangalaan” is a joint production by Studio Green and Neelam Productions.

The film stars Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Harikrishnan, Preethy Karan, Anbudan Arjun, and others. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash, with cinematography by Kishor Kumar and editing by Selva RK. Set during the British Raj era, the story follows a fierce tribal leader on a mission to stop an alleged sorceress and assist a British general in the search for gold in the KGF.
