'Mahaan' marks the 60th film of Chiyaan Vikram that carries a lot of expectations as the star is co-starring his real son Dhruv Vikram for the first time. Written and directed by Karthik Subburaj, the action thriller is set to have a direct release on Amazon Prime Video on February 10. Lalit Kumar has produced Mahaan under his banner Seven Screen Studios.

The makers launched the teaser of Mahaan a few days ago, which raised the expectations for the film among the audience. Following the first two singles, the movie team has now launched the third song from the Mahaan album. The new song, 'Pona Povura' sung by Gaana Muthu, Asal Kolaar with the lyrics by the famous Tamil independent music artist Asal Kolaar.

Santhosh Narayanan has scored music for Mahaan. The promotional video for the peppy number is made in a unique way. The video was shot in a single shot with the cast and technical crew of the film in the director's office. Karthik Subburaj, choreographer M Sherif, stunt director, the actors, associate & assistant directors, editors, costume designers and office staff were seen in the promo.

Mahaan also stars Vani Bhojan, Bobby Simha, Simran, Sananth, Muthukumar, Sharath Ravi and Deepak Paramesh. Shreyaas Krishna cranked the camera in Mahaan and Vivek Harshan took care of the editing. Vikram plays the liquor syndicate gangster Gandhi Mahaan while Dhruv Vikram plays the police officer 'Dada', who goes after the former.
