VJ Chithra the popular actress of ‘Pandian Stores’ fame died under mysterious circumstances in a star hotel near Chennai where she was staying with her husband Hemanth Kumar from December 4th. Her husband had stated that she came back from a shoot after midnight on December 8th and went in for a bath but did not return for a long time and later her body was found hanging.
Postmortem was conducted on Chithra’s body at the Kilpauk government hospital in Chennai and a while earlier her mortal remains were handed over to her family. Chithra’s mother who was inconsolable has accused Chithra’s husband Hemanth Kumar of murdering her and has stated that she would kill him with her own hands to avenge her daughter’s death.
Chithra’s mother has requested her fans to teach Hemanth Kumar a lesson and help her to get justice. Chithra’s body is kept at her Kotturpuram residence for friends, relatives and fans to pay their homage.
