‘Chennai2Singapore’ which released last week opened to a positive reception from the audience. The fact that the number of shows for the film have been increased in theatres is a sign that people do like the movie which is a positive progress for the film as well in the commercial sense.
However, as usual this film was also released on the web by pirate site owned by Tamil Rockers. Regarding this the film’s director Abbas Akbar has made a video of himself with a heartfelt request to the said pirate site.
Stating that it was not possible to reap profits just out of 4 days, the director had requested online piracy sites to not upload the film for 30 days atleast. Abbas’s heartfelt message video is being widely circulated in the web with the majority of tweeps expressing disappoint over the prevailing piracy menace.
It is also worth mentioning here Ghibran who has composed the music score for the film has bankrolled the project as well.
