CSK player expecting first child with his wife; Shares pictures

Chennai Super Kings and India all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham announced on Sunday that he is expecting his first child with wife Archana Sundar. Sharing the exciting news on his Instagram handle, Krishnappa Gowtham posted a few pregnancy snaps alongside.

“We are brewing a little miracle. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy as we eagerly await the arrival of our little wonder in January 2022 #newbeginning #gratitude #blessed #whentwobecomethree,” the cricketer captioned his post. One of the pictures shows Krishnappa Gowtham as well as Archana clad in the yellow CSK jersey, featuring Archana’s baby bump. The last picture in the series shows the couple holding a picture of their ultrasound. Congratulatory messages poured in for the player in the comments section from his fellow cricketers as well as fans.

Krishnappa Gowtham, who was roped in by Chennai Super Kings during the 2021 IPL auction, is the most expensive non-capped player in the league’s history at a whopping Rs 9.25 crores. The all-rounder is all set to represent the team in the UAE leg of IPL 2021, where CSK will be playing their first match against defending champions Mumbai Indians on September 19.
