Buzz! Sai Pallavi to play most challenging, epic role

Sai Pallavi may be in for a grand, epic Bollywood debut. As per rumours, the ‘Fidaa’ actress has been cast as Sita Devi in a movie based on the Ramayana. ‘Brahmastra’ star Ranbir Kapoor is going to play Lord Rama in the epic mythological movie.

The gossip is that Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor were mooted for the coveted role. Due to whatever reason, the role has embraced the ‘Love Story’ actress.

If the gossip is true, the ‘Gargi’ and ‘Virata Parvam’ actress is up for something spectacular in 2023. It will also bode ill for Kriti Sanon, whose performance as Sita in Prabhas’ ‘Adipurush’ will be put to excessive comparative criticism. 

Sai Pallavi is doing a film opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Tamil. She is not accepting movies thick and fast in Telugu, probably because exciting offers are not coming her way. 

In other news, producer Allu Aravind is making a film on the Ramayana. When it releases three or four years later, it is going to be India’s most expensive project.
