A vast section of Prabhas' fans seems to be frustrated ahead of the launch of the Prabhas-Maruthi project. After news today came out that the 'Prathi Roju Pandage' director would be directing Prabhas, thousands of tweets called out for a complete boycott of the director.

The fans feel that Maruthi doesn't deserve to wield the megaphone for a movie with a pan-India star like Prabhas. The 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy' director is not in good form and that's why they are worried. They are also asking how come someone who is working with the likes of Prashanth Neel, Nag Ashwin and Sandeep Reddy Vanga can team up with Maruthi, whose film sensibilities are more suited for medium-range heroes.

Many fans of Prabhas were seen saying that Mahesh Babu's fans too are supporting the hashtag trend. "If you support us in making #BoycottMaruthiFromTFI a national trend, we will support you when Anil Ravipudi attempts to team up with Mahesh Babu," a fan of the 'Adipurush' and 'Salaar' actor wrote.

Maruthi, meanwhile, is gearing up to make an entertainer with Prabhas. Who knows, Prabhas' fans themselves might love it!
