Actress Bhagyasree had gained popularity by acting in the Bollywood movie Maine Pyaar Kiya paired with top hero Salman Khan in the 90s, and she had got married to producer Himalaya Dassani and the couple have a son and a daughter and she had also quit acting.
Now the actress is in news, as her husband Himalaya Dassani has been arrested for his involvement in gambling. Mumbai police had arrested Dassani on Tuesday and was produced before the court, which has granted him bail. Recently, Amboli police had conducted raids, during which they got to arrest gambling gangs.
When they made enquiries with the arrested gamblers, they revealed that Himalaya Dassani was also involved in gambling following which he was arrested. It must be noted that Dassani who started his career as an actor, is now a producer and recently launched his son Abhimanyu as an actor.
