Salman Khan, one of the top Bollywood actors, has garnered everyone's attention with his new bulletproof SUV car. After receiving death threats, the star switched to using bulletproof cars with Y Plus security for safety. His latest ride, Nissan Patrol SUV, is the talk of the town now as it is an exclusive model.

Salman was using the Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 before he recently upgraded to this high-end Nissan Patrol SUV. The reason for the change is Toyota does not sell factory-fitted armoured cars and the actor had to manually install the armour and bulletproof in it. But the Nissan Patrol SUV is a factory-made bulletproof car.

As per the reports, Nissan Patrol is the brand’s flagship and most pricey SUV. Sources say that this car isn’t available in the Indian markets yet and has been specially imported by the actor. While there is not much information about this car's specifications, the buzz is that it comes with a B6 or B7 level of protection. The B6 has 41mm thick protection glass while B7 has 78mm thick protection glass.

Nissan bulletproof Patrol SUV comes with a massive 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine which is responsible for delivering 405hp of maximum power and 560Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated with a 7-speed automatic gearbox. This model is said to be quite famous in Southeast Asian markets. Salman was spotted with this ride earlier this month at the lavish inaugural of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.
