Bigg Boss 5: Everything we know about the "Title winner" Raju Jayamohan

The much-loved reality show Bigg Boss 5 hosted by Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan came to an end yesterday with Raju lifting the trophy and Priyanka becoming the first runner up. With his mimicry skills, stand-up comedy, and funny one-liners, Raju was the most entertaining Bigg Boss Tamil contestant of the season.

Raju was born in Thirunelveli and bought up in Chennai. After years of struggle in the industry, he grabbed the spotlight with the Tamil movie ‘Natpuna Ennanu Theryuma’. He also worked as an assistant director with K Bhagyaraj.

He was best known for his roles in TV serials like Kana Kaanum Kalangal, Kalloori Salai, Aandaal Azhagar and Saravanan Meenatchi. Before joining Bigg Boss Tamil 5, he was a part of the popular television serial ‘Bharathi Kannamma’. 

Raju Jeyamohan got married to his longtime girlfriend Tarika during lockdown at the Marudhamalai Murugan temple in Coimbatore district. Tarika and Raju were trending on Instagram after the latter visited him in the Bigg Boss house.

On the career front, sources reveal that Raju is roped in to play an important role in actor Sivakarthikeyan’s movie ‘Don’. He is also well known for his role as ‘Kaththi’ in the daily soap Naam Iruvar Nammaku Iruvar.
