Bigg Boss contestant and Bollywood actress Gauahar Khan married boyfriend Zaid Darbar in a traditional nikaah ceremony followed by a lavish wedding reception in the evening on Friday, December 25. The event was grsced by several celebrities, including veteran Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Clad in a stunning gold-maroon lehenga, Gauahar Khan stole the show while Zaid Darbar perfectly complemented her in a black Kurta. Announcing the news of her wedding on Instagram, Gauahar Khan wrote, "The year 2020 has been anything but ordinary and our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever. Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony. We seek your blessings & love & are eternally grateful for the constant support & the outpour of warm wishes we have received. We hope for every soul to find its mate and pray for every heart to find it's reason to beat. All our love, Gauahar and Zaid."

The actress also posted pictures from her Mehendi function along with a caption that read, "Writing our love story on each other's hearts forever with the blessings of our family and friends and above all Allah." Apart from being known for winning the 7th season of the popular TV reality show, Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, Gauhar Khan has also appeared in the Bollywood movies Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Ishaqzaade, Fever, and Begum Jaan.
