For the unversed, Bigg Boss Tamil 3 star and veteran actress Vanitha Vijayakumar got married to Peter Paul in Chennai on June 27, 2020. Their union became a controversy and made the headlines back then. Peter, a visual effects director, met Vanitha when she met him to narrate a script and the two eventually fell in love.

It was Vanitha's third marriage and Peter Paul's second marriage. Peter's first wife Elizabeth Helen lodged a complaint with the police alleging that he was not legally divorced, so the new marriage stands null and void. Peter stated in an interview that he entered wedlock with Vanitha and he will marry her officially after getting divorce.
