[VIDEO] Bigg Boss contestant accused of drunk driving, beating man

A video of Bigg Boss 13 contestant Sidharth Shukla engaging in a verbal brawl with a man has gone viral on social media, with the latter accusing Sidharth of driving drunk and beating a man. However, the actor has clarified that he was threatened by a goon armed with knives and that he had to defend himself.

The person who filmed the video of Sidharth is reportedly heard saying, “This is Sidharth Shukla. He is drunk driving.” He then argues with the actor. “You hit a poor person unnecessarily, isn’t it sir? Why are you changing the topic? Don’t change the topic now,” the man says. Responding to his accusations, Sidharth is heard saying, “He threatened me with a knife.” The actor also registered a complaint with the police regarding the issue and the accused has been arrested. ETimes quoted a source as saying, “In the wee hours of Saturday, Sidharth’s brother-in-law received a call from his staff regarding some goons to which both went to check on what was happening. When the two spotted it and tried to stop them, the men had knives in their hands and tried to threaten them. Sidharth and his brother-in-law somehow managed to take them to a local police station and the men are behind bars now.”

Sidharth Shukla, who won the Bigg Boss 13 title, recently celebrated his 40th birthday. Thanking his fans for showering him with wishes, Sidharth wrote on social media, “Hey guys thank you so much for making my birthday so memorable and special…really appreciate the effort and love… you guys mean the world to me … you’ll made this the best birthday ever….. love you all.”
