Bigg Boss actress loses 12 kgs in 6 months; posts stunning pictures

Indian actress and model Shehnaaz Gill, who was one of the most popular contestants of Salman Khan’s controversial TV reality show, Bigg Boss, has apparently lost 12 kgs in 6 months, leaving her fans surprised.

Shehnaaz has shared a couple of pictures on Instagram posing in a striking denim outfit and spoke about her weight loss journey during the lockdown period in an interview with a news agency. Claiming that people used to mock her for being ‘fat’ during her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, the actress reportedly said, “A large amount of work has come to a standstill all around, so I thought why not just go for weight loss? A lot of people made fun of me during Bigg Boss 13. So many people lose weight, so I figured I could show people that I can become lean too.” Shehnaaz mentioned that she weighed 67 kgs in March and currently weighs 55 kgs. Further speaking about the diet which majorly helped her in shedding weight, Shehnaaz said, “Trust me, I went in for a simple reduction in my eating habits. You can say that I cut off on my non-vegetarian food, chocolates and ice cream and nothing else. But besides that, let me explain how I ate because therein lies the catch.”

“Every day, I ate just one or two things. I wouldn’t stuff too much variety in my daily consumption of food. For example, if I ate dal and moong for lunch, I would eat the same for dinner. And I reduced the portions. If I was hungry for two rotis, I ate only one. Mann maarke khati thi (I would suppress my feeling of hunger and eat). And it started working,” she further added.
