Chennai Love Story, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, has made an impressive start at the box office. Riding on positive word of mouth and encouraging reviews, the romantic drama witnessed a solid opening on its first day, giving Kiran Abbavaram one of the strongest openings of his career.

According to trade estimates, Chennai Love Story collected ₹4.40 crore net in India on its opening day from 1,638 shows. The film’s India gross stood at ₹5.06 crore, while it earned another ₹2.50 crore gross from overseas markets. With this, the film has registered an impressive worldwide gross of ₹7.56 crore on Day 1.
