We had already reported about a case registered against veteran actress Bhanupriya in Andhra in which one Prabhavathi has alleged that her fourteen year old daughter Sandhiya who is a domestic help is being physically and sexually abused and also that salary has not been paid.  Read : Banupriya in trouble after sexual harassment allegations of minor girl

Bhanupriya has explained her part of the story stating that the girl had been stealing twenty five to thirty sovereigns of gold jewels and cash to the tune of one lakh fifty thousand.  Her alleged modus operandi is that over the months she used to take a bangle or earring and cash and hide them and whenever her mother visits once in three months or so would give it to her.

According to Bhanupriya her brother Gopalakrishnan had caught Sandhiya red handed and when he confronted her she fell at his feet and begged not to give police complaint and after they contacted her mother she came from Andhra and returned some of the valuable things.  Prabhavathi however told them that no jewels were taken.

Bhanupriya denies that her brother sexually abused the girl and has stated that she would take legal action against them.  However she did not have a satisfactory answer as to how she can employ a minor girl.
