Balakrishna’s Roar Ready! Dubbing Wrapped for ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’

The unstoppable combination of ‘God of the Masses’ Nandamuri Balakrishna and mass entertainer specialist Boyapati Sreenu is back in action with their fourth collaboration — the high-voltage sequel Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. Currently in the final stages of post-production, the film is being crafted on a grand scale with top-tier technical finesse and an impressive budget.

Bankrolled by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, the makers are racing ahead to deliver the final cut well before its highly anticipated theatrical release.

A significant milestone was recently achieved as Balakrishna completed dubbing for his role, signalling a major step toward completion. Simultaneously, the team is wrapping up CG work, background score, and other critical post-production tasks, all of which are expected to be completed by the end of this month. The first copy of the film is expected to be ready within the next three weeks.

Releasing worldwide on September 25th, just in time for Dussehra, the makers have firmly stated that there will be no delays. The already-released teaser has ignited massive buzz, showcasing Balakrishna in a fierce and spiritually charged avatar, sending fans into a frenzy and heightening expectations.

Joining the sequel is Samyuktha, often dubbed Tollywood’s lucky charm, who takes on a crucial lead role. Also in the mix is the ever-reliable Aadhi Pinisetty, known for his versatility, who portrays a character with significant emotional and narrative weight. Making her Tollywood debut, Harshali Malhotra is also part of the film in a key role.

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam boasts a stellar technical team. Music is composed by S Thaman, whose pulsating background scores have become a signature of the franchise. C. Ramprasad returns as the cinematographer, Tammiraju handles the editing, and AS Prakash orchestrates the film’s grand visual world with intricate production design.

With momentum steadily building, the team is gearing up for an aggressive promotional campaign, promising a steady stream of updates and surprises leading up to the release.
