Balakrishna’s new film with in-form director announced

Marking Nandamuri Balakrishna’s birthday today, Mythri Movie Makers made their union with the actor official. Director Gopichand Malineni, who pulled off a massive hit in the shape of ‘Krack’ earlier this year, is wielding the megaphone for this project.

The in-form director has prepared a power-packed script based on some true incidents. While it’s not known as to what is the backdrop of the mass film, it’s certain that the ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’ actor is going to be seen as a powerhouse in the unnamed film. The announcement was accompanied by a video in which Balayya is juxtaposed with a lion. This suggests that the Nata Simha’s image will be tapped into in a big way in the film. 

The yet-to-be-titled flick is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, while S Thaman is its music composer. 

The makers are yet to confirm the details of rest of the cast and crew. 

For now, Balayya is going to occupied with the pending portions of ‘Akhanda’ once the shoots resume. Director Boyapati Srinu has hit the right notes with a massive teaser, which amassed 50 million views in 16 days in April this year. The mass masala behemoth has Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine, while Srikanth and Jagapathi Babu will be seen in crucial roles.
