'Pathaan', starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Siddharth Anand, continues to draw the ire of Hindutva activists. The action-thriller, starring Deepika Padukone in a combat-ready role, today faced protests from Bajrang Dal activists in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.
As per news reports, scores of Dal activists reached a mall where the posters of 'Pathaan' were put up. They tore down a makeshift arrangement and raised slogans against the big-ticket Bollywood movie. They also pulled down a flex and resorted to physically pouncing on it.
The film is slated to hit the screens on January 25. Also starring Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia, Gautam Rode, Shaji Choudhury, and Gavie Chalal, its screenplay has been penned by Shridar Raghavan.
The film is going to be released in Telugu as well. In Hindi, it is expected to have a massive release. Two songs from the movie have become a hit.
