Actor Atharvaa was last seen on screen in the action packed entertainer 100. The movie directed by Darling and Enakku Innoru Per Iruku director Sam Anton had Atharvaa playing a police officer and also starring Hansika Motwani, Harija and Yogi Babu turned out to be a commercially successful outing.

Now the actor's next release has also locked its date. Atharva is all set to make his debut in Tollywood with Valmiki which happens to be the official Telugu remake of 2014 Tamil hit Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Bobby Simha, Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles.

Valmiki is directed by Harish Shankar, and the movie will have Atharva reprising Siddharth's role and Varun Tej in Bobby Simha's role, while Pooja Hegde plays the female lead. It has now been announced that Valmiki will release worldwide on September 6. Let's see if Atharvaa could score a hit on debut in Tollywood.
