Actor Arya, who was last seen on screen playing an extended cameo role in the Suriya starrer Kaappaan and played dual roles in Santhakumar's Magamuni, is all set to have an interesting release in the form of Shakti Soundararajan's Teddy soon, and also has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline.

Arya has always been known as a fitness conscious person, and had been indulging in cycling for long distances even during the lockdown, along with his friends. The actor has hit the gym for beefing up his physique for the upcoming movie of director Pa Ranjith which has been tentatively titled as Salpetta.

Set in the 80s, Salpetta will have Arya playing a boxer and the actor has reportedly been undergoing boxing training at Chennai Mixed Martial Arts academy, and today, the actor has revealed his surprise boxing partner on Twitter, and it is none other than his wife Sayyeshaa. Sharing photos of Sayyeshaa with him and joining the Chennai MMA, Arya tweeted "my new boxing partner @sayyeshaa #ChennaiMMA".
