‘Borrder’ is a long-delayed film in Arun Vijay’s filmography, directed by Arivazhagan. It is worth mentioning that the two have already delivered the superhits – ‘Kuttram 23’ (2017 film) and ‘Tamilrockerz’ (2022 series). Borrder completed filming in 2021 and is waiting for its release till now.
The makers tried for a theatrical release several times but it was pushed further again and again due to unavoidable reasons. Now, the new release date of Borrder is announced as 24 February 2023. Produced by All In Pictures and 11:11 Productions, Arun Vijay will be seen as officer Aravind Chandrashekar, who is part of the Defence Intelligence Agency.
Stefy Patel plays Arun Vijay’s wife in this spy thriller with Regina Cassandra playing his colleague Aparna. Borrder stars Bagavathi Perumal and Chandrasekar Koneru in supporting roles. The movie is shot in Chennai, Delhi and Agra. With music by Sam CS, the film has cinematography by B Rajasekar and editing by Sabu Joseph.
