New director of Arjun Reddy’s Tamil remake announced

The debut movie Varmaa of Vikram’s son Dhruv was all set to be screened across theaters in the country before the release was cancelled by the producers, owing to a disagreement with Bala, the director of the version.

A statement was issued by the producers announcing a reshoot of the entire movie with a different director, still featuring Dhruv in the lead. The director of the new version has been revealed a while ago.

Girasayya, the associate director who worked with Sandeep Vanga in Arjun Reddy has reportedly been roped in to work as the director of its Tamil remake. Vanga suggested his assistant’s name as he is apparently busy with the Hindi remake currently.

Starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead alongside ‘October’ fame Banita Sandhu, the shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin in March.
