Isai Puyal AR Rahman has been delivering more albums in Tamil cinema lately. He is scoring music for director Mari Selvaraj’s ambitious project, ‘Maamannan’. Produced by Red Giant Movies, the upcoming movie stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh.
‘Raasa Kannu’, the first single from the Maamannan album was released recently. The soul-stirring song sung by Vadivelu created a sensation in K-town. Now, the team launched the second song ‘Jigu Jigu Rail’ for which Oscar Nayagan has gone international. He adapted the Jamaican music style ‘Reggae’. We see ARR joyfully dancing with kids in the music video.
The new track is stylish, peppy and cheerful sung by Rahman and has lyrics by Yugabharathi. Maamannan is slated to hit the screens next month. Reportedly, the film will be released on June 29 (Bakrid). The movie has cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Selva RK, stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan and choreography by Sandy.
