Le Musk is a virtual-reality film that Rahman worked on as a side project for five years. Many technicians from around the world assisted in the production of the film. Rahman expanded on a story idea pitched to him by his wife, Saira Banu. He later created a 36-minute film about a girl who is looking for the men who orphaned her when she was young. And 20 years later, that girl sets out to find them, aided by the singular memory of their scent.
Rahman also walked the red carpet as part of an Indian delegation led by I&B Minister Anurag Thakur. Rahman shared the pictures from Cannes XR, where his film was premiered at the specially designed seats with VR goggles. He also posted a picture with Ulaganayagan on his Instagram page.
