Jayalalithaa’s video fake or real? – Apollo Hospitals clarify

With the R.K.Nagar scheduled to be conducted tomorrow, a video of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa undergoing treatment was released by a close aide to TTV Dhinakaran. However, the hospital in which Jayalalithaa underwent treatment Apollo Hospitals have come out with a clarification.

Officials of the hospital stated that the said video was indeed taken during the treatment of the CM and so is real. However, it was added that nobody belonging to the hospital took the video. The statements also suggested that someone close to the CM might have recorded the footage.

On an other related news, the Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhani has stated the release of the video to be a breach of election protocols and so action might be taken against TTV Dhinakran in this regard.
