With Unlock 3.0 coming into force, the Andhra Pradesh government has made the inter-State movement of people and goods easier. The authorities have said that those seeking an entry into the State need to only register on the Spandana website and get an auto-generated e-pass. This will suffice to gain entry through the border check-posts.

The same will come into force from August 2.

"Travellers can carry the auto-generated e-pass along with a valid ID proof to get entry at the border check-post. There will not be any delay in getting the e-pass because it is entirely auto-generated," the authorities have said.

The new system enables tracking of people:

The new system is healthcare-friendly. "It will make it easier to record the movement of people coming into Andhra Pradesh so that local health staff can keep a watch on their health status," Krishna Babu, Principal Secretary, State COVID control room, said.
